She was the widow of Price McKinney, a steel magnate from Cleveland, OH. The family was very involved in horses and spent the winters in Aiken. Her son, Rigan McKinney became a Hall of Fame steeplechase gentlemen jockey after studying under another famous Aiken resident, Thomas Hitchcock. Neat story and great photos of the house.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7288538847206010845.post-40697849529831241262015-07-29T23:22:07.544-04:002015-07-29T23:22:07.544-04:00PS - I live in Arlington if you want to contact me...PS - I live in Arlington if you want to contact me!Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10934292539875399555noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7288538847206010845.post-36112623966670478042015-07-29T23:20:01.310-04:002015-07-29T23:20:01.310-04:00He used to let me come to paint pictures of the ho...He used to let me come to paint pictures of the house. He also asked me to attend 'ladies parties' to make sure they didn't take anything home with them. I had full run of the house. Good memories.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10934292539875399555noreply@blogger.com
