Happy Halloween.
Here's what we did with the pumpkins!
Scoop.
Draw.
Cut.
Place.
Then we dress.
Yoda and the force of peace.
Harry Potter and the snitch. T's on the 4th book so he changed up his usual theme. I also said they had to be SIMPLE costumes this year. Cape and robe.
In 2007 the costumes were....
Luke Skywalker, and E's idea: a two part job ... ice cream cone (Mom) and the ice cream with cherry on top rolling down the street.
and R2D2 (lucky me). This was E's idea.
In 2008 the costumes were ...
Anakin (as he starts going toward the dark side)...see T's usual theme over the years?
and a Smart Car.
This was E's idea. It took a month to make. This kid sure has an imagination.

Oh my goodness! We live parallel lives! I love talking Jango & Boba Fett with other mom's! ha! You did an incredible job on the R2D2. I wouldn't even know how to approach/attempt that one. I hope your boys had fun tonight, we did. It was a better trick-or-treat turnout I thought compared to last year. Keep up the Force!
ReplyDeleteTerrific. The boys will always remember these days. Hanover was a blast. I'm trying to find the words to describe it.

ReplyDeleteYeah, its de j'vu all over again with the kids and Halloween....I can't remember my son or daughter being so exacting! The sugar high was there tho. A good math exercise with all the loot counting.
What fun, creative costumes!
