Holiday Feasting

This is for our overseas friend Jim who had spaghetti for Thanksgiving. Dressing, white and cheese mashed potatoes, asparagus, cranberry sauce and gravy.

Two tables set 6/4 in the living room, which I use as a dining room.

Turkey picked clean.

Desserts of course. T made a second apple pie. (Still had some of his first pie from the ham dinner on Wednesday.)

And he made his favorite chocolate icebox cake.  It involves chocolate mousse and whipped cream, what's not to like?

They cut into it so fast I didn't get a picture of the whole thing!

Plus lemon meringue and pecan pie, straight up chocolate mousse and whipped cream.

Always one for ice cream.

I had also cooked a turkey breast (unsure of the head count for dinner). Friday night leftovers dinner.

Two pots of turkey soup lasted one day each.
