  2. Stunning photos. I just love peonies and always wonder how the stems support such huge flowers.
Thanks for stopping by my blog.
I have put some more information regarding the trumpet flowers if you want to check back.
    Best wishes

  5. Chickie and I still have tiger lilies and purple irises from those transplanted from our home on Garfield Terrace. Actually, the tiger lilies were given to us as transplants from over at the Meyer's home when they were going to sell their house after Maurice and Carolyn had both passed away. We also have a couple of orchid plants we bought from the hot houses on that same property. So although we are no longer in the neighborhood, we still have our flowers and picture that help remind us of those good times to brighten our lives and help us remember the good old days in "the hood". I don't think anyone could know and understand the history we had in our old neighborhood! It was such a unique place to grow up. Loved the parties at your house, especially remember egg nog at the Christmas parties. Your brother Kevin and I had some good times together, too. Always enjoyed the house, too and going down to your basement to see and play on the old pipe organ down there. Miss those days so much! Jane
