We have had such a mild winter up until the last few days. Now we have a touch of snow on the ground and freezing rain forecast for over night. The garden is confused. The poppies are growing.
The daffs are pushing up.
And the weeds are in bloom.
I wish their hardy traits could be implanted into some flowers we love! To see some prettier blooms click on over to Today's Flowers #231.

Boy Joy
Snow at last.
Boy joy for the Nanoks of theNorth South.
Ready to launch that pile of snow down his brother's neck.
But its OK if you get the snow in yourself.
Too bad it was so little a snowfall and just a dusting again to ight.

A Strange Flower
While browsing Home Depot I spotted this:
A very large plant, 2x3 feet maybe. Wouldn't these be something in a big arrangement?
It is Tacca chantrieri 'Black Bat Plant' a Bat Plant. Tricky to grow as it is from the tropics.
Take a look at Today's Flowers # 230 for more interesting floral sights.
