A Strange Flower

While browsing Home Depot I spotted this:
 A very large plant, 2x3 feet maybe.  Wouldn't these be something in a big arrangement?
 It is Tacca chantrieri 'Black Bat Plant' a Bat Plant. Tricky to grow as it is from the tropics.

    Hi Pat, thanks very much for sharing this very interesting plant today. I have never seen anything like it or heard of it before. It looks very exotic. You have my curiosity peaked, I'm going to take a look on line to see if I can find out where it originated. Have a great week :)
